We are the 3 Academy of the the Philippines. The PMA for Arm forces of the Philippines, the PNPA for Fireman officers and Police officers, and the PMMA for merchant Marine officer , Navy, Coast guard, Marines and Maritime police. We as one, we have our own characteristics and abilities. We are the finest gentlemen who conquer the land and the sea on our professions, We are comrades in short. Now lets watch the PNPA slow drill platoon. This is different than the traditional Silent drill company from the Academy. This are execute of a slow type drill. The slow Drill was conceived at the early part of Oct 1989. To the effort of General Vicente Venarao. He was able assisted by Dean Capt. Randolf Delfin. The former Director of cadets. They were supported by Police Senior Superintended Demetrio Pagadoran and Cadet Captain Recardo G. Martin of the PNPA Class of 1990.
The goal was simple to present the more sophisticated drill performance other than the Academy traditional silent drill exhibitions. At first it was criticized as a totally flam buoyant dream. That never before the history of this Academy had there been an exhibition a unsophisticated as the slow drill. The movement was new and very indicants but the determination of the corps of cadets push the completion of the Slow Drill Platoon. Months of rigid and religious training result to snappy executions and display of brood strength made the best of the best. The first and only slow drill platoon in Asia. The strong arm of the Corps.
